      WILD Questions...

First of all, apologies if this is in the wrong section.

This week I have about 4 days off of school, and I'd like to use this opportunity to try a WILD.

I frequently go to bed early and WBTB on school nights and on weekend, but never attempt WILD. (Well, I do, but not really properly, if you get what I mean.)

I would like to try it tonight, as I've said, or tomorrow or sometime in the weekend. I've read a lot about WILD and SP and all of that, but what am I to expect?

I have a lot of questions, but here are just a few:

What would SP feel like in general? How would I know when to end transition and 'step into the dream world'? And finally, Is it better to wake up earlier or later than the 'designated' time you need to wake up?

Sorry if these questions are stupid, but if someone could answer, that'd be awesome

SP, for me, feels very uncomfortable. The feeling of not being able to move added with the somewhat frightening sounds (such as screeching, screaming, talking) and the strong sensations (such as vibrating, dizziness) can be very frightening. The experience can even more frightening when you start seeing things in your room as hallucinations. This of course is the worst it can get

Some people just experience not being able to move with some added sound and sensations, and for some people they might not feel anything.

For me the right time to transition into a WILD Dream is when the SP starts to clam down, most of the time this automatically happens to me without me doing anything, other times i might have to visualise.

And for your last question, i think its more of a personal preference. Waking up before you normally do (in the section of the night where you dream the most) can make WILD very easy as your mind is in the dream state; waking up abit after you normally wake up doesnt work as effective for me because your mind knows that it should now be awake and not dreaming. But sometimes this can result in you becoming more aware of yourself in your dreams.

      Good luck Wild-ing
