If you aren't in a REM period, doing WILD is wasting of time and all you will feel is the Sleep Paralys or maybe nothing. I was asking the same question here yesterday |

I tried many times lucid dreaming, but the only thing i achived was,my body felt asleep i felt in sleep paralysis and i couldnt fell to the lucid dream...my steps was 1)relaxing staying in a comfortable position 2)looking on the dark (closed the eyes),not thinking anything 3)trying to go to the lucid dream but nothing!!the whole thing i want to ask is:my methods are right?(i cant use WILD because im a student and i tried DILD technique) |

I can't give much advice, I had my first and only LD out of complete randomness (I think it was a lucky DILD) but I would reccomend DILD for a starter, especially if you're a student like me. A dream journal is your best bet as it pretty much is the base of LDing. Once you have found your dream signs from your dream journal, perform reality checks whenever you can come across one. That's what I have been doing. Hope this helps ^_^ |

If you don't want to interrupt your sleep for WILD, you can rely on reality checks and increased daytime awareness. Check out this guide: DILD Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views |
