Last night I had two successful LD's using this technique. I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but I'll post this anyways.
Steps:
1. Go to sleep.
2. Wake up naturally (no alarm clock).
3. WBTB for a few minutes. Or use DEILD (good tutorial HERE).
4. When you start to visualize things and are in that groggy half asleep state and are starting to drift off, visualize yourself climbing up a ladder.
5. When you are to the point where your visualization becomes "real" and vivid, visualize yourself getting to the top of the ladder but instead of just going to the top and climbing off onto the surface, kind of throw your legs up to the surface like you would as a child trying to get onto a trampoline.
6. When you get to the surface, take a good look at everything around you. You should be in a lucid dream.
Climbing is good because it involves moving the entire body. It gives your mind a sense of your dream body, and once you use your legs to throw yourself into step 5, you should be completely stabilized into the lucid dream. Once you stabilize, the entire room or area should become increasingly vivid and your consciousness and awareness should skyrocket.
Last night was the first time I used this technique, and I had 2 LD's from it. I'd say this is pretty successful.
