      Need help maintaining concentration?

*Sigh*, so, once more, another failed attempt at a WILD last night. This time round I tried KingYoshi's WILD technique, and had the FILD for a backup. I believe I almost made it partway into SP, but then I lost concentration, I started to come out of it...this happens every time.

How the crap do I maintain concetration? Is it just me?

I'm not sure if this is a misconception or not, but usually my best lucid dreams come with minimal effort, almost like it was pouring out onto some dream-scape without any effort needed.

Did you fall asleep? Or were you startled awake? You want to drift off a little bit. Those distracting scenarios that run through your mind are what lead you into a dream. I think it is always better to accidentally fall asleep, than to stay so focused you never fall asleep.
