HELP! what am I doing wrong?!

      Hi everyone!
I've had about 4 or 5 lucid dreams in my life, and only two since I started using LD induction methods and reading tutorials on this site, but everyone of my LDs happened by pure chance.
Since on my last fortuitous lucid dream i was able to control the environment (by creating an elevator on a house) in a boost of confidence I decided to try and have some WILDS.
      Obviously with no avail.
Here's what happened to me this last couple of times: I hope you can tell me if/what i'm doing wrong.

I lay down on my back and tell myself: "now i'm gonna Wild and i won't move a muscle"
then, usually, i picture stairs going down a hill, and i tell myself: "when I reach the bottom of the stairs i will be dreaming" and start counting the steps. Around the 100th steps i start losing counts and having HI.
BUT i can't stay lucid! After a while i inevitabily fall asleep and wake up after half an hour.
And here's a bizarre thing: when i'm having HI, my body moves on its own, my arms or legs have brief jerks that jolt me awake. But i'm keeping them still! why does this happens?
Why can't I consciously lucid dream?

i've also tried new techniques such as:
      -frequently reality check
-reciting multiplication tables as I wild to keep my mind more lucid
-be more aware of my surroundings when i'm awake
-going to my mum and brothers (who appear very frequently in my dreams) and ask them: "is this a dream? how did we get here? how do we know this is not a dream"?

      Nothing worked.

Can you help me out? Pretty pls? :3
and sorry for long ass post

Basically, you don't just "not move", it's not as easy as that. You have to prepare yourself properly, WBTB, all that good stuff. Here's a guide, it should help: WILD (Sageous)

thank you for answering me, but as I said on my post (maybe I wasn't clear since english is not my mother tongue ) I do try relaxation techniques and meditations while i WILD, and since it's been half a years since i've taken interest in lucid dreaming, i've read a buttload of tutorials, including the one you suggested, but none of them helped and i just can't attain lucidity O_ò

I can see you sleep through your bedroom window. You're killing yourself with lucid dreaming.

You have to keep at it. Or try a different technique then! Some techniques aren't for some people, you just have to find the way for YOU to get lucid.

Maybe your mind is still not ready yet.

I suggest you to step back a little and do what in the link I attach below instead for sometime. By doing what in the link, you might get what you need or what you do wrong in your WILD. Because even there were so much tutorial out there, we still need to create our own version of WILD that suite ourself better.

      This is the link: http://www.dreamviews.com/f15/if-you...ams-try-93005/

Yes, it's for remembering our dream but try to read thorough the thread. Especially focus on what the thread starter said. Who knows if you'll get something? Sorry if I didn't help much. I also didn't understand what we actually need for WILD.

      They are called Hypnic jerks:

.../studies have recently begun to link some occurrences of "Hypnic jerks" to sleep anxiety, fatigue, and discomfort. People who are having trouble sleeping or cannot get comfortable in bed appear to experience the sensation more often throughout the night. It is especially more common with people who are trying to fight falling asleep/...
