Hey Skalm, |

I have known about Lucid Dreaming for 8 months now, been practicing on and off, I have had 8 LD's so far. |

Hey Skalm, |

To add to Ophelia's question...what time are you attempting WILD? |
|

Have you tried meditating before sleep to relax your body and get your brain ready for theta mode? This helps a lot when it comes to the WILD method. Its all about relaxation while keeping your mind conscious. What makes this technique so hard is relaxing your body while trying to find the right level of consciousness so you can enter a dream without waking up or drifting off. Good luck! |

I have been practicing Meditation, I do have to make it a habit for everyday. Problem is my household is too loud, and I live close to a town, I guess I could get ear plugs. |

I have yet to completely WILD, but I did get the feeling people explain just yesterday. As for the loudness, if practiced enough I believe people can learn to shut out noises. The brain automatically shuts out certain sounds after so many are being listened to. I got so relaxed one night listening to my meditation music before bed, that I would notice moments where I didn't hear anything. If you could achieve this, it could help greatly. I hope I helped. |

Live your life the way You want to live it, not by how others want it to be lived.
Noises can be adjusted to. I live in the middle of a large city and there are traintracks less than a mile from my house. The train horn can be heard regularly, especially at night, yet I sleep through it. I also can sleep through the siren on the trucks from the nearby fire-station (most of the time). |

I guess some have it harder than me haha. |
|
Another question...do you experience trouble falling asleep whether you attempt a LD or not? |
