WILD Thread Number One Zillion: Making progress...I think.

Well, I think I'm making progress.

After all the techniques I've tried, and practicing for a very long time...I think I might be on to something.

The past couple times I got lucid from a WILD attempt, I lied down and almost lazily said "Fuck fancy techniques" and just used sheer willpower to convince myself that I was gonna be lucid. No mantra or anything, I just said once to myself "Okay, I'll be lucid."

This seems to have worked 2-3 times...however I don't ever recall a transition or intermediate of any kind. Its just a sort of blackout, and then I'm lucid at the very beginning of the dream.

Is that how its supposed to be? Regardless, it seems to be working, but I'm just curious!

Sometimes I don't have any transition either, other than very gentle vibrations, but sometimes even those are nonexistent.

I'm just looking at the back of my eyelids, keep telling myself to get up when I see my room. Then I see my room and I tell myself there is no way I'm asleep, since there was no transition. But I say screw this, I'm just gonna stand up and possibly ruin the whole thing. But what do you know, I'm in a dream. So go figure. I'll take it, anyway I got.

And I just use my mantra "I'm dreaming" to keep me from falling asleep too fast.

      Aluuuuu!

I'm not sure if that's how it's suppoosed to be, but I guess it's different for everyone right? Whatever floats your boat. Haha I usually experience transitions, but there have been times where there's just nothing, and when I open my eyes, I'm in the dream. That's also a great experience, really magical in my opinion – to be able to close your eyes and open them and end up in a completely different world.

      Great job!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
