      Strange feeling, is it WILD related?

      So when I'm at my most tired waking up during the night, and lie down again on my back instead, after lying there for awhile, I get this feeling like my consciousness just dipped down into something then came back up. Not the usual losing concentration then getting it back thing, but similar to the feeling that I get during DEILD when rolling through my bed. Should I try making my WBTB earlier and try exploiting this? If I could WILD that early into the night then DEILD for the rest that'd be wonderful.

      I've also had these happen to me a couple times. To me, it's like I'm having "intermittent awareness". I don't really know what else to call it, but it's like i slip in and out of awareness.

      I'm not quite sure what you mean with the WBTB thing though. I'm thinking that if you mess with the WBTB time, you might not get that consciousness thing in the first place. I suppose you could stick with your normal WBTB or when you naturally wake up. I have used this "intermittent awareness" thing to have DEILDs when I would wake up in the night, feel myself dipping in and out of consciousness, and I'd visualize the dream scene then reenter it. Not sure how to use it for a proper WILD though. :/

      Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
