      WILD - slow, involuntary movements

Hi, all. I am new. Nice to meet you.

I read some similar threads in which people note how a hypnic jerk is common when working toward a WILD/SP. This morning, however, I started turning my neck to one side, and then later, my back started to arch. These motions were not jerks - they were slow. It wasn't unpleasant or anything, just odd. At first I was excited - I thought it was a dream. Not so lucky.

I should note that in the past I have had SP, some night terrors, awful cramps, and some sleep walking.

What do you make of this?

      Hey there. Welcome to DV!

I honestly don't know why that could have happened with the neck and back thing. Perhaps it's just your body gradually trying to adjust and make itself comfortable since you were straining your neck? These are things we don't usually notice our bodies doing, but if you are staying aware in a WILD attempt, then that could allow you to notice these subtle movements. That's just a guess though

      Good luck!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
