With WILDing I find it easier to lie back, repeat a tune through my head to stop all my thoughts and then slowly quieten that tune down until I’ve managed to relax my body into sleep and slow my thoughts too.

Then because I nearly always know what I want to WILD I’ve visualized it a lot and I’ll draw that thought up into my brain and think about it a few times, sometimes it’ll take a while for a dream to form this way for me and I find it simpler just to wait for an image to appear and form it into a dream myself.

Then I just act like any normal lucid, stabilise if I feel myself loosing grasp of the dream and just do what I want.

Hopefully it’ll work for you too. Some people find it easier to start WILDing with Binaural beats or pink noise running from headphones so if you struggle you could try that? It also might be a good idea to just practice getting into the habit of sending your body to sleep whilst keeping your mind awake. I’ve found the more you do it the easier it is when you want to dream.

      Good luck!

I definitely agree with practice (in this case) makes perfect and I have previously tried Binaural beats but i don't have headphones, i only have a headset xD and i can't get to sleep comfortably with those on at all where they are so big. What do you mean by pink noise? I'm sure i'll get results sometime it's just waiting for the right moment
