      Question about WILD?

I got told on another forum that when you go into SP and you start hearing voices that some voices tell you to open your eyes etc and it sounds like some maid or something and then you open your eyes and it is a demon or something like that, what happens if you open your eyes on SP? Will you see demons etc? If so how do you stop seeing them, he also said that some people have died from seeing the demons etc from fear, can someone explain this bit to me I want to try WILD in 30 minutes.

      LOL.

People saying things like that have no business giving advice about lucid dreaming, talking about dreaming, giving any advice in general, or even have computers and internet, and probably should be locked up in a looney bin.

That's ridiculous, scaring people like that. The information you read on that site, was valid, in dark ages. You know, when witches were flying through the air at night and brewing people in couldrons.

Please, forget EVERYTHING you read in that place. Re-program your mind with some good info, before you try a WILD. Learn the process, know why it's happening, what it is, what to expect, and everythink about it.

If you never had a LD, start with DILD, so you get the feel for what it is.

Thanks for the reply, it gave me a lot of re-assurance.
I've had 2 lucid dreams before, do you have any advice from where I should start from?
I had both lucid dreams naturally but did reality checks in them both.

      Exactly what gab said.

When you WILD, the feelings you get are NOT SP. The experience is different for everyone, and it might involve visual or auditory or any kind of hallucinations since you're in the half awake/asleep state. Some people don't have them, some people do. But the point is they're NOT demons, at least they're not real at all. They are projections of your mind. What you think they will be, will what they will be.

Don't think about it, because it will only put you in the wrong mindset. Try not to open your eyes, not because you might see demons (which you won't), but because you should focus on sleeping. But if you accidentally open them, do not think about bad things, because those things you see and hear and feel (if you get them) are formed around your thoughts. So think positive. Mmkay?

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

I linked you to DV academy in previous post. You may join a class to learn the basics, or induction technique, like WILD or DILD. You can get personalized guidance there. Or, you can read the tutorials in DV Wiki.

Read up, post your questions, we'll be happy to help.

Thanks, I have made a workbook in your course, thanks for the help, greatly appreciated :]#

      EDIT:
I want to start trying WBTB methods etc soon but I don't have a alarm that can actually wake me up, noise from alarms doesn't wake me, does anyone know of a alarm clock that you can put under your pillow and it will vibrate or another method to wake up at a certain time?

ive had over 35 lucid dreams with about 10 of them being WILDs. WILDs can get a little scary at times and ive never experienced sleep paralysis ever. I have experienced intense hypnagogia though but alot of what you hear is people exaggerating things that arent even real. Dont buy into the hype until you experience it for yourself
