Weird Experience while attempting a WILD while listening to binaural beats

I had this weird experience a few days ago...

I was using the mind awake, body asleep WILD induction method while listening to lucid dream binaural beats. I had been laying there for quite awhile, but I just couldn't keep my eyes from darting around, looking at hypnagogics. It occurred to me that I couldn't quite feel my arms. Not like numbness, but more like they were detached from reality, floating in space. I couldn't feel the blankets my arms were resting on. Then it felt like they were floating up. I don't know how I thought of this, but it just felt "right" to use my mind to will my arms back down, and it felt like they were floating back down. So I tried visualizing myself moving my arms to a different position, and they responded in kind. All of this was in my head, but it felt so real! After a while, I was getting frustrated with the rest of my body not going to sleep so i said "the heck with WILDing" and went to sleep.

The next day I lied down for an afternoon rest, I cued up the same binaural beat track and kept very still. The same thing happened with my arms, but again, the rest of my body would not fall asleep. Frustrated, I gave up and got out of bed, but my arms felt really heavy, but then really light. Some of you will probably be skeptical about my next experiene, but here goes. MY ARMS STARTED FLOATING IN REAL LIFE! It was like they were just doing it of their own accord! I stood there shocked for a second, but quickly snapped out of it. I visualized them floating back to my sides, and it actually happened! Just to make sure of the validity of what I was doing, I raised and lowered my arms, ths time using muscles instead of my mind. Then I raised and lowered them, consciously telling my mind to raise my arms. And the two feelings were distinctly different.

So, just wondering, do any of you have an explanation for this phenomena? I do believe it has some connection to the binaural beats I was listening to.

That could have been a couple of things.

      1. FA - non lucid
      2. You were seeing HH and you interacted with it
      3. You transtitioned into LD without noticing
      4. You started to go out of body

Next time you can try and will rest of your body to float up, or even away from bed, then stand up and see where it takes you.

      My theory:
Your arms were in sleep paralysis, and you were moving your dream body. The rest of your body wasn't paralyzed, so you couldn't move your dream body.
If you are in this situation again, you should try this:
Gently twitch your body parts that are not paralyzed. You shouldn't be even moving them, just twitch your muscles a liiiitle. Your brain will think that you're in a dream already, and you're moving the body parts that aren't paralyzed. Good luck.

It may be offtopic but I suggest you not to use binaural beats. Instead of putting you to sleep faster, these can keep you awake.
