Really Close to becoming Lucid Last night? Weird?

Ok, so I haven't really been dedicated into Lucid Dreaming, but I have tried 3 times, one today and two a couple months ago.

The first time I tired (a couple months ago). I tried doing WILD. I fell asleep and then I woke up 4 hours before I usually wake up. I played some video games for 2 hours and then I fell asleep keeping in mind that "I can't fall asleep" "I'm going to have a lucid dream". I slowly drifted away and I think I was still awake, but then I had like this memory lapse and all of a sudden I gained awareness and I felt this tingly sensation the moment I gained awareness. I thought this was Sleep Paralysis and that I was close to LD so I continued to try to fall asleep and then I suddenly become aware that I had two bodies, my dream body and my real body. My dream body I could move around, but I felt my real body still sleeping on my bed and I could hear noises from outside. I slowly walked around the house and I felt like if I moved my dream body too much I might wake up. I woke up 5 minutes later.

The second time I tried doing WILD. I woke up again very early and I only thought about lucidity then I went back to bed and I stayed very still and then suddenly I was aware that I was having these random thoughts through my head and when I gained awareness I felt this tingly feeling everywhere. I tried to stay very still and I visualized me walking around and flying and then all of a sudden I was aware that I was in a lucid dream. I could fly and walk and do whatever and this time I didn't feel like I had two bodies. This lasted for 20 minutes.

Today, I tried to LucidDream again. I took a nap and I kept in my mind to try to have a lucid dream. I wasn't trying my full effort but I tried to stay very still and WILD. Then all of a sudden a noticed that I was having these random thoughts racing through my head and I read that this means you're near falling asleep so I thought I was close to having a lucid dream. I felt a tingly sensation everywhere. I slowly drifted away then all of a sudden I became aware again and I felt this tingly sensation everywhere. I coudln't move, but I had my eyes partially open and I could hear these noises. Then I woke up cuz someone called me.

All these three times I tried to WILD, I had these random memory lapses where I suddenly become aware, as if in between I was unconcious, or I don't remember. I have these weird memory gaps where I suddenly become aware that I'm having these random thoughts or random noises or I feel this tingly sensation. EVERYTIME I become "aware" I can't move, I feel this tingly sensation and I can partially see. Usually when I feel this tingly sensation I think its SP and I'm close to LD. All these three times I've tried to WILD. I've never heard any LOUD noises (the third time I heard some noises but they were quiet) and I've also never had hallucinations or anything that I've heard should happen when you WILD. SO, what am I doing wrong? I feel like you have to put alot of effort to LD, so that's what kind of made me stop but now i want to try again. What happened these three times I tried to WILD and what is this tingly sensation? How come I don't get hallucinations and go directly into a LD? How can I get LD easier?

Everyone has different sensations during entry to WILD, i for example have almost none at all for the most times. You don't want to wait for them and you need to just fall asleep while being aware. And don't aim for SP, it's common misconception and it's not needed for an successful WILD.
The fact that you got lucid dream with this method previously(congrats on that by the way ) saying that you are doing everything right. Also your third attempt sounds like false awakening where you have been paralysed(as in, you were dreaming about having SP), try to force your dream body to move next time and then do an reality check, i had pretty similar experience when i was starting WILDing where i was doing same error of thinking about SP, which materialized it in the false awakening.
If WILDing is too hard you you, you might want to try other methods, i personally would suggest DEILD and WBTB, but DILD is also working method for many people who start with lucid dreaming and many find it the easiest, ironically i haven't had much luck with it myself though. Check out those tutorials: DEILD Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views WBTB Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views DILD Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views
And here's also tutorial for WILD in case you haven't seen it: WILD Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views .

You aren't really doing anything wrong. It just takes some time and effort to adjust yourself to a technique. From what I've read, you've been getting better at refaining awareness, since you start to notice your body falling asleep while remaining aware. The tingling you felt are normal bodily sensations which you notice since your body is falling asleep and you're conscious throughout that process. Check this out: http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...ntry-wild.html

I recommend reading through WILD (Sageous) to truly understand the different parts of WILD.

As for why you didnt get hallucinations right away...well it's different for everyone. For others, they dont even see any hallucinations at all! It really depends. Just remember that these hallucinations are NOT absolutely necessary to have a WILD. They may or may not be present, and you can still WILD.

There isn't really a set way to LD easier, just keep up your persistence and if something doesn't work in your technique, adjust it. Experiment with different things to find out what works for you or not.

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
