      100% guaranteed way of coming out of sleep paralysis in under a minute: Just change your breathing pattern.

      Among other things you still have control over your breathing. Unless you have a condition known as sleep-apnea in which case you would know about it anyway.

      That has worked for me in the past, but recently it didn't work at all. I was just laying there, making myself breathe in all kinds of abnormal ways, and it still took a long time to bring myself out of it. Someone suggested to me in another thread that holding your breath would work a lot better.

      Of course, the BEST way to deal with it is to not fight it and turn it into a lucid. By simply relaxing and focusing on trying to enter a dream, it will go away so much faster than if you struggle to get out of it. And then you're lucid and can do whatever you want.
