How to think positive? Sleep Paralysis

Hey guys, sorry. I know this is a quite common question..Is sleep paralysis scary...? Or is sleep paralysis like a vivid dream that you can advance from, into a lucid dream scene when your ready?

I got this from another popular lucid dreaming site. It was loaded with detailed, positive and accurate information but this one specifically concerned me. (world of lucid dreaming)

If you become fearful or convince yourself you are having a genuine out of body experience, then you may well accidentally invite others dream characters into your false awakening. They can be menacing, or they can be warm and positive. It really depends on your own projected thoughts and beliefs about the experience. Just remember, if they do appear, you are dreaming and you remain in control of all your feelings. You control the actions of these dream characters by proxy.

I did have one dream experience where I forced a nightmare into a friendly .. * I made a nightmare turn positive*

So basically if I go to sleep thinking positively, the dream will probably be as well? I sorta have a problem of imaging something watching me..My mind finds it funny. This feeling makes me mad so I might be able to deal with it in the dream but what scares me the most is that I wanted to try to WILD but there's a huge chance you will enter SP before you enter the Dream. Thats fine with me but whats it like? Loud noises in my ear..No thank you lol

EDIT: I woke up and couldn't make a sound or move my body. I could move my eyes, and I remember them being hard to keep open. Surrounding my bed were narrow black "alien" type humanoids conversing amongst each other while looking at me. A lot of them. I couldn't see their features. It was frightening, but I knew what was probably happening to me so I let my eyes close and fell back asleep. Funny thing is that my mom had the exact same manifestation before. I never knew until a while after my own experience.

Okay I just found this. Now im shitting my self..

You are really unlikely to enter that state unless you have sleep disorder with same name, normally it happens only once or twice through the whole lifetime, if it ever happens.

And if you ever get it, it's easy to turn it into lucid dream from what i know, and yes, it can be turned positive. But if you don't have sleep disorder, you don't need to worry about it at all.
