What is it called when you lucid dream inside a non-lucid dream?

What I mean is like being in a dream, and in said dream you lay down to WILD and succeed and actually become lucid in that dream, but not aware that you got to that lucid dream through the non-lucid dream. It's complicated I know, but this happened to my the other night and I was wondering if it counted as a DILD or a WILD. Thanks in advance.

Progress: DILD: 100+, WILD: 1/2, WBTB WILD: 2

Goals: Achieve WILD, Be able to induce a WILD on command.

Surly It's type of lucid dreamings. But My Experience has shown to me that this type of LDs are with very low consciousness. Waking Up from them make False Awakening.
Based on my opinion This not WILD because It has not W Anyway it's type of dream. I suggest you to make a LD in another LD next time. It can be interesting...

Happens to me all the time. It's a DILD since you were already asleep.

It is just DILD. I have had 1 that was not very vivid, but I have had 3 that were just as vivid as a normal dream. It is just a scene change.

There was a short period of time, when I had like 5 of those. In each of them I was telling people I need to go to sleep now to have a lucid. And I did "wake up" and be lucid. I think it's just a DILD with thinking of LDing serving as a trigger to lucidity.

Nothing. You can't know your dreaming while simultaneously not knowing. Dreams can't layer. 2010's over, stop watching Inception. It's a normal lucid dream people.

I don't think he meant that he didn't know he was dreaming. It sounds to me, that he did know, just forgot how he got lucid. And it's normal to sometimes not remember what happened before you gained lucidity. In any case, if you get lucid while already dreaming, it's a DILD, as everybody here said. And I like Inception. It's an action movie, not a documentary.

Yeah, I was just ranting about the title of the thread, but I didn't mean to degrade Inception.
