Question Waking up naturally after a dream & WILD

I used to never normally wake up naturally in the night, I would have to use an alarm but lately I have been telling myself to wake up in the night and I have. So with that said, my question is if I wanted to wild, what should I do? If I woke up and meditated for ~30 minutes and then tried, would that increase my chances?

That's great that you are able to wake up on your own. WBTB is certainly way to go if you want to WILD. I think meditating is fine, as long you wake up your mind sufficiently enough, so it can stay aware untill you ready to enter a dream and you don't fall asleep too soon into unconscious sleep.

Best time for WBTB is after at least 4.5 hours of sleep. And you need to experiment with how long to stay up. If I may suggest, don't set any time limit. Stay up, only untill you can think rationally, but you still sleepy enough. This may take 5 min, or 50 min. It may also be different each time you try. Good luck
