Do you happen to drink anything with caffeine before bed, such as soda or eat lots of sugary things at night? |

Every night, after a REM cycle, I wake up. This is usually between 1-3AM, and it happens on regular intervals after that. No matter what I do, I constantly wake up after my REM cycles. I'm not saying that this is a bad thing, quite the contrary. I'm simply wondering why this is. Any thoughts/ideas? |

I've read somewhere that after each REM period we either wake up a little bit or our body moves to check that everything is fine. So we may just be conscious enough to catch this each time. It's the same thing for me two, I don't know how it happens to certain people or whatever, but it's great. Makes it really easy to recall dreams =D |
