Not sure how you gonna feel about this, but I would give it a read. WILD(sageous) |

Yes I know that generally people say you need to find your own way and what not but I like to have at least a basis for what I'm going to do. I need some techniques that people use (I.E the Stop-Drop and Roll technique [This one almost works for me but not quite]). I've found threads like this before but most of them tend to reference DILDs and such, which is a method I'm not too enthusiastic about. I prefer physical methods like the Stop drop and roll method where you do something with your body and stuff to help you relax and fall asleep and what not (I know I'm not explaining very well, sorry) rather than metal preparation ones. Hence the lack of enthusiasm over DILD (I can't remember to do reality checks during the day and such so i never really realize im dreaming in a dream etc. etc.) So if anyone has any physical techniques they use for WILD I would appreciate some responses. |

wow I'd like to help but this is such a vague question and leaves very little to go on. I guess as far as physical things to do, make sure you are using a wake back to bed with around 5 hours of normal rest before attempting your WILD. after you get up briefly, take a piss, grab a drink of water and just lay down and get as comfortable as you can. I personally use a mantra with this technique to keep myself aware as I drift back to sleep but there really is no lazy man's method to accomplish a WILD. it's definitely going to take some effort on your part, mental prep being the MOST important aspect. best of luck |

Mental preparation is important in any aspect of lucid dreaming, independently of the technique one uses. I am not sure what technique you are talking about, but as far as i know concentrating on physical body during WILD only keeps one awake, it's all about just falling asleep while being aware. |

Well the thing is WILD is entirely a mental process. It is not physical. There is nothing you do physically that gets you a WILD. The only exception might be "wake back to bed", but that's all about waking your mind up so it is still mental preparation. |

I agree with everybody here. |
