      Wild question

Hello. I'm just looking for somebody to explain the wild technique a little better for me. All I know is that you go to sleep, wake up after 4 hours. And lie still until you can't move and see hallucinations.

That's kinda right. Everybody's different, so it can be waking up after 4-6 hours. you'll have to experiment a bit. When you wake up, stay up for a while.
(45 minutes - 1 hour). Go to the bathroom if you need to, i also heard eating a banana is a good idea. When it has been 45 minutes, (or an hour), Go back to sleep.
As you fall back to sleep, try to imagine a scenario, or landscape. imagine it as if you are there, then sort of, jump into it.

WILD isn't a technique it's a category of lucid dream. There are techniques that will help you have a WILD like WBTB but that can be used for DILDs too.

The categories of LDs are :
WILD - Wake Initiated Lucid Dream,
DILD - Dream Initiated Lucid Dream,
and argueably DEILD - Dream Exit Initiated Lucid Dream

The "I" in WILD AND DILD stands for Initiated
but in techniques like MILD the "I" stands for Induction

So the techniques you want to use to have a WILD are those where you are trying to stay aware while you fall back to sleep. There's LOADS of techniques to do this, Stephen LaBerge did the famous one of counting yourself to sleep, probably a good place to start.

What tradl3s said is basically correct.

I'm just gonna add, that you don't wait for not being able to move. And there is some mental preparation you should do before an attempt.

WILD (sagaoues) will explain the whole process in great detail
