      A detailed explanation of WILD?

Hi, every now and then I have an attempt at WILD but every time I try I fail, for some reason I never get into sleep paralysis, I have seen little colours moving about with my eyes closed and felt a sort of pins and needles feeling in my hands, but I have never become paralysed, after a while I guess I start to feel uncomfortable and just fall asleep unconsciously, has anyone experienced this and how did you make WILD work for you?

Firstly, do not try it when you first go to sleep. You're more likely than going to fail. Best time to try is 5 or 6 hours after you first go to sleep. Also, forgive my being pedantic, but REM atonia is the correct term for sleep paralysis, unless you have a disorder. Everyone's experience with REM atonia is different, but as a general rule, if its overly uncomfortable, you're doing it wrong. I did experience this frequently once. For the longest time, I was stubborn and tried to force it with no regard to sleep cycles. It simply didn't work. I personally wake up 6-6 and a half hours later, stay up for a few minutes and then attempt to WILD. Because I'm close to the next REM cycle, it isn't long before I "zoom" into the dreamworld. (I don't actually feel velocity, but that's the best explanation). If you're doing it right, you shouldn't feel your physical body at all.

If you have not read this tutorial by sageous yet, I can recommend it for you WILD

The whole process is explained in great detail.

And yes, SP is not part of lucid dreaming. It's not something you try to achieve. it happens by itself, after we start dreaming. Only thing we need to do is fall asleep, while keeping our mind occupied with something, like a mantra or counting. Good luck
