Problems i have while doing the WILD

Hello, i am new to Lucid dreaming , but i know quite a lot because i read about Lucid dreaming almost everyday. Lets get to the point, i want to succeed lucid dreaming using the WILD method , about 100 days at sleeping time i try this method but somehow i keep failing for these reasons : cant get into sleep paralysis, wander and end up sleeping/regular dream. And i want help to succeed, i am patience and i have motivations , but i just cant make it right, I need advices, and how do i know i am close to sleep paralysis?

      Hey, welcome to dreamviews!
Sleep paralysis is not a requirement for WILD and there's alot of confusion and misleading about it over internet, check out this thread: http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...mystified.html and sorry that you were going wrong way all the time. For WILD you just need to fall asleep while keeping awareness using an mental anchor, like mantra or counting, also you need to use WBTB or nap, WILDing at usual sleeping time is often unsuccessful unless you are really talented or skilled. Also here's an in-depth tutorial that describes process so be sure to check it out: WILD
      Good luck with your WILDs!

      Oh, thank you very much

Oh! and another question I ama bit confused in.

when i got to my bed a lay down witout moving in a least less than 5 minutes i feel my body numb , like i relax fast.

How to I make advantage of this?

because when I try to do the WILD i forget some things

And i shoud add: or sleep deprived. My mom usually dreams after 1 hour of sleep, and i have good fun waking her up to remember her dreams, or sometimes just watching her REM eyelids. Sorry for this nonsense post
Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

You shouldn't be really be focusing on your body when WILD, but if you can relax fast during WBTB or nap maybe you could put more focus on your anchor while still be able to fall asleep. Also remember, staying still isn't a requirement for WILD.

I think you have too many exceptation how wild should happen. You only need relax your mind and body while keeping awareness. I used to have this problem. Even if i kept my mind completely silent nothing happened because i was waiting sleep paralysis and focusing too much on being awake. Its very hard to learn the relax completely but dont try to wild same way over and over again. Try to find a way how to keep just enough awareness for you to fall sleep while not completely blacking out. Once you have done it twice it becomes easier. What worked for me i kept just repeating myself ``no worries, just fall asleep, just relax`` while keeping awareness.
