      Body buzz/spins during WILD

i am sleep deprived and only slept for 2 hours last night. today, i go to take a nap and can feel the sleep paralysis coming. i stay calm, but as soon as the sensation moves to my head, i can feel everything spinning (into a dream maybe), but before that happens, my head involuntarily jerks. it's like the feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when riding a rollercoaster...you really can't prevent it. I was mentally prepared and fully conscious while it was happening, but my head just jerked and i immediately snapped out of it. i tried it a second time and the same thing happened. It was really disappointing because i feel like no matter how mentally prepared i am, my body will not like the dizzying sensation and automatically jerk.

has this happened to anyone else? how do you deal?

Don't give up. There is so many other things that may/may not happen when you wild. The spinning sensation is only one of them. So there is a very good chance, that this will not happen next time.

The jerking movement you experienced sounds like a hypnic jerk, that can happen at any time when you falling asleep, regardles if you WILDing or not. Also, the sensations you have experienced are very likely just normal sensations of your body falling asleep and relaxing, and not an SP.

      Good luck and happy dreams
