well, m posting this thread to find out how to improve my skills of Lucid Dreaming. first let me mention that, I already had Lucid Dreams a couple of times, two of them were "WILD" and intentional and the others were unintentional just like i was in a normal dream and suddenly i became aware that i was dreaming and i became Lucid. Now the help m seeking for is, my last "WILD" Lucid Dream happened 5 days ago from now. the method i used was, i woke up after 6 or 7 hours of my sleeping by alarm, then after 10-15 minutes i went to sleep again, when i kept saying in my mind that m gonna Lucid Dream. It happened and i was very happy. (I will share my experiences in another thread) My another and first "WILD" intentional Lucid Dream happened in 11th October by following the same procedure, but the problem is now m trying to induce it again in the same way and either nothing is happening or m falling asleep and get into normal dreams. Please someone help me, i want to do it everyday and whenever i want. Later i have an intention to "Astral Travel" too. thanks for reading. |

I like destruction and reality, and one invariably leads to the other.
'Dreams are real while they last. Can we say more of life?'
'We die to remember what we live to forget'
Hey, welcome to dreamviews |

How the hell are you doing it? I still never had a lucid dream and I've been trying to WILD for like two months! |

Tier 0 goals - "Tutorial Dream":
Have a lucid Dream (duh) [ ] Experiment with own height [ ] Make friends/pets appear [ ]
Tier 1 goals:
Fly on a dragon [ ] Use a Sniper rifle/bow [ ] s3x [ ]
Tier 2 goals:
Use Mass Effect powers [ ] Use/summon powers/heroes from Dota 2 [ ]
This will be updated according to my progress.
It's easier to WILD if you've already had lucid dream, and it takes practice, lucid dreaming is a skill and style of life, it's not something that you can get by simply following steps. And asking for exact steps is not really a good idea because just so many things vary from person to person. |

Hey Shadowsharpeye, like Scionox said, WILD is usually not easy. I find I just fall asleep or it takes ages. I think there are 2 problems that make WILD difficult. 1st it's a very delicate balance to stay aware enough and not fall asleep, and often you just end up "off balance", asleep or awake. The other is that I believe that the actual waking can reset your sleep clock, so that the next cycle where REM is likely might be 90 minutes away. I have had 2 frustrating WILD LDs where it literally took me 2 hours or so to get lucid (but even then just a very short one!). It's not a technique that you can use regularly because it deprives you of sleep! |

well m a newbie in LD too bro! and u just have to wake up by put an alarm on ur clock or cell phone after 6 hours of ur sleep. after waking up just get up and keep awake 10-15 minutes. then again lay down and don't move to trick ur brain that u r sleeping! but at the same time u have to b relax! keep repeating in ur mind that u gonna have a Lucid Dream today! keep doing this, i hope soon i will read a thread from u asking for more suggestion who already induced it |
