Hey DreamHighlander, that's sort of the technique I use, except that on my back I can't get to sleep, or even close to WILD, but on my side I tend to just go to sleep. I did have some early success on my side. How do you just "go with the flow" but not go to sleep?
For me, if I try to just stay awake enough I seem to "bounce" out of the dream almost as soon as I start. I might have just 1/2 a second or one second of a fully formed scene, which then instantly evaporates, I suspect as my waking consciousness takes over. With me it seems to be a delicate balance that I can't seem to master.
Maybe I'm just not sleeping enough? I do struggle to get 8 hours sleep and then some time to WILD - too much family noise around me!
