      I need tips for WILD!

Well, I've decided to switch up my lucid dreaming strategy; for the last four months or so I've been solely using DEILD with the aid of mantras, but I didn't have much success.

So, I was thinking about a new plan:

I want to attempt WILD now, with the help of reality checks (which I've used reality checks before, but I really found it hard to remember and I felt like they weren't really doing anything), and maybe with the help of mantras too. But I had a few questions, since well I'm new to WILD; I read that it is best to wake up after 4-6 hours of sleep and then attempt WILD, is that true? And could I use a mantra to wake me up from 4-6 hours of sleep? Also, I was going to use two different reality checks (try to breathe with my nose and mouth closed, and try to stick my fingers through my palms) to make sure that the reality checks were like, I don't know, working?

Any tips on how to make WILD better for me would be great! Thanks!

You don't need to worry about reality checks if you are doing the WILD method since right when you enter the dream you'll know that it's a dream.

Also waking up is crucial to the WILD method since otherwise it just doesn't work. I'd recommend trying to chart the Times you wake up naturally in the middle of the night instead of just seeing the alarm for 4 hours so then you have less of a chance that you're interrupting a dream.

I would defiantly recommend the WILD method, it's the only thing that I've tried that worked for me.

That's a relief, reality checks aren't really my thing. The thing is though, I've never noticed naturally waking up without the aid of a mantra.

I had one WILD attempt work after 3 hours of sleep it was good, but all my other attempts failed...i have had so much success from attempting WILDs the minute i get to bed, although sometimes it takes around 30-40 minutes. It is so much more powerful this way. Personal experience though, don't take my word for it :-)
