Hello there, I'm new to lucid dreaming and was wondering if anyone can help me with WILD.
I started 2 weeks ago & I've only had like 8-9 DJ entries.
I have good dream recall even before when I didn't know about lucid dreaming.
I was once thrown out of a very vivid non-lucid dream and directly into sleep paralysis (hypnopompic?).
I couldn't move, I couldn't breathe, but after a minute or two I got out by calming myself down and breathing normally.
Anyway, I've had 2-3 attempts of WILD (the others I did at night - NREM so it didn't count) and I felt like I was missing something.
I sleep at around 10:30-11:30pm, and naturally wake up at around 2:30-3:30am.
1st and 3rd attempt, I immediately tried going back to sleep around 10 minutes after waking up in the morning.
2nd attempt, I think I stayed up too long and became "too awake" and couldn't sleep :/
In the 3rd attempt, I spent an hour maintaining awareness while my body was slowly falling asleep (or being really numb)
to the point that when I stopped at 4:30-ish and opened my eyes, I felt like I had glitter in my eyes.
My jaw hurt a little when I tried to move it, etc. It was cool and I think I was really close.
(lost concentration due to other people waking up early and making loud noises)
Am I doing anything wrong?
