Self-Awareness is what i lack in my WILD Attempts?

      Hi Guys.

I've been attempting getting myself a stable routine of WILDs since a long time
I had lots, lots and lots of failures aswell as some fancy lds

Back in weeks, months i was able to WILD from various anchors: Counting, Visualizing, Keeping Mind Empty, Pain etc.
Yet i never was able to master using of any of them for longer amounts of time (Weeks, Months)
Once ago there was a week in which i had four times a WILD from counting anchor (0.1.2.0.1.2)
I've tried to replicate that week's attempts
      Yet with no results

Same counting technique put me to sleep
Extending my WBTB up to 20 - 45 minutes did not help at all
And i was wondering for a long time what's keeping me from getting those nice WILDs

And therefore today i've gotten my motivation back to try once more WILDing and so i had readed once more some material and gotten to conclusion
It might be the Self-Awareness which i lacked during most of my attempts

My attempts were if i recall correctly were plain & dull
I was just lying still while performing the anchor without even considering my existence or what, why i'm doing this and where i am i guess?

Maybe during those successful WILDs i somewhat kept Self-Awareness yet without planning to do so
So after this idea which poped up in my head i've wrote new plan to WILDs:
      1. Wake Up After 6 - 7 hours of sleep
      2. WBTB For 10 minutes
      3. Anchor: Repetitive Counting From 0 to 2
      4. Awareness: Knowing all the time who i am, what i'm doing and why i'm doing it what i'm doing currently
      5. Keep Awareness & Anchor above the random stream of thoughts which tends to happen yet don't make them vanish (This might help me to know if i'm putting too much mindpower on anchor or not)

Hopefully i'm not putting too much expectation on Self-Awareness
Advices, suggestions & help would be really awesome
      - Thanks For Reading

I have had some luck using a WILD technique that I sort of made up. I wake up when I naturally wake up, get out of bed for about 5-10 minutes, and then go back to bed. If you are a light sleeper like me, waking up naturally is fine. If you are a heavy sleeper, then set an alarm so you get up earlier. The most important thing is to still be tired when you wake. I then get into the most comfortable position (does not matter what position it is) and just relax. After a little while, I start seeing images that gradually form into a dream. Also, I find that over-analyzing each aspect of WILDs makes it extremely hard to have lucid dreams. The key is to just relax and accept everything that happens as you fall asleep. Also, stay positive about it no matter what. You will have luck soon!

      Thanks

Indeed, i'm over-analysing way too much stuff before WILDing and i'm also stressing out whether it will work or not
You thankfully reminded me one of my major mistakes
I'il attempt now to not overanalyse stuff and keep optimistic attitude toward my attempts

Aswell i should have edited my post before (I forgot )

I've fortunely resolved the issue i had with WILDs, so i'il post it here
It might be helpful if somebody meets smiliar issues to mine

I was following too straightly tutorials
I didn't experiment much with WILDs and relied heavily on other members ways to wild which was the thing that pretty much made my WILDs ineffective
One guide mentioned to keep anchors like counting as a minimal mental effort and i ended up falling asleep most of times
As i've started experimenting i finally had some victorious wilds (What required for author of guide minimal mental effort, for me needed to use pretty much most of my focus).

      - Thanks
