No progress for weeks because of that? Damn, that sucks. You need motivation and determination to last you until a few hours later after you fall asleep, and unfortunately, I don't think that's something another person can help you with. You get motivated by thinking of all the amazing things you want to do and can do in a LD. If you fall asleep really easily after waking up, try to fall asleep consciously. Keep your mind busy by counting, or visualizing (or both), or doing FILD or any WILD technique. If you wake up during a REM cycle and do a WILD technique it's much more likely you'll succeed.
