A lot of people might say that moving would ruin your chances of DEILDing successfully, but I don't know if that's necessarily true. For a long time before I ever joined dreamviews, I would have most of my lucid dreams from waking up then going pee then falling asleep and going straight into a lucid dream.

You can definitely still enter a dream while lucid after you move, the only thing that I've noticed from moving is that it makes it harder for me to fall straight back to sleep once I move but I'm sure that doesn't apply to everybody and I wouldn't go to the extreme of saying that your chances are ruined just because you moved.

I don't think that becoming lucid necessarily has to follow strict guidelines where we have to stick to rules set forth by different techniques or methods, there is wiggle room and we can do whatever we find works for us.

(Just to be clear though, I personally usually have a higher success rate of DEILD when I don't move upon waking)
