has anyone tried to WILD right after a nightmare?

i had a nightmare and tried to WILD, then right after that i had HH(creepy sounds like a group of people saying "hello" in a creepy tone ) that made me realize i would enter another nightmare if i continued.

No. I usually don't like the mood of nightmares and sometimes they can pull you back to the same type of dream if you are too sleepy (like an unintended deild). What I do is wake up, walk around a bit to change my mood, then when I feel ready proceed to either normal sleep or try for an ld.

You could also try to change the mood during the transition if can calm yourself down enough not to be affected by the previous dream (though as I said in this occasion I opt for starting with a clean slate).

Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.
