I've read lots of tutorials about WILD on this forum but I've been having a discussion with this man on Facebook that thinks differently from what is wrote on this site. I will put his comments in quotes.
nope, it requires not falling asleep
not for WILDs, with WILDs the body merely becomes relaxed not asleep, thus no paralysis...
go for it + see if you can break Jame's record of only 11 days to first WILD heh maybe we should start a competition to see who gets gold?
REM sleep usually occurs several hours 'after' falling asleep no? so how can it be possible to WILD immediately then if while waiting for REM sleep? WILDs are different, you don't need to fall asleep to do them, they are 'waking-induced' lucid dreams.... hence the beauty and elegance of them
but WILDs occur immediately without having to wait for rem... so where then is the rem with WILDs??
must be wrong... either that or WILDs evokes rem, else you'd have to wait hours before WILDing
YES! imho and experience we can ALL do WILDs anytime! We just didn't realise that we can! (am setting out to change all that tho with the WILD way to lucid dreaming heh, wish me luck...)
Is he right and I've been reading everything wrong or is he chatting absolute sh*t?
