I've always wondered this. Where do they come from? As in, could someone sitting next to you feel them in some way? Or, are they inside your body? Is it just a mental hallucination? |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I am not sure, but they are probably a mental hallucination |

I don't think it's actual vibrations but I don't know where they come from or why you vibrate in the first place. Reason is I remember having really intense vibrations where I was pretty much shaking in my bed ~4 years ago and my sibling near my bed didn't wake up |

I've been doing a lot of research trying to figure this out. The vibrations have really caught my interest. I haven't been able to find much about it though unfortunately. If anyone does manage to find something, please share. |

great question! i can't attest to vibrations... but on occasion i have had dream orgasms and felt my body phsycially move as i went over the edge... it was all i could do to stay lucid. |

What you are referring to is Paresthesia...which can be caused by putting pressure on a nerve for extended periods of time and results in a "pins and needles" sort of sensation due to disrupted neural signals. Paresthesia is not associated with sleep however and is usually felt on the skin and described as tingling, prickling, numbess, and not vibrations. Also the fact that paresthesia occurs to alert the mind that something is physically wrong with the body makes me think this is different from the vibrations felt during sleep, since sleep is a natural healthy process and there is no reason to alert the mind to a problem in this case. So I do not agree with your assertion that the vibrations are similar to or have the same cause as pins and needles. Also I know for me personally, they are two entirely different sensations. But I think you are definitely on the right track in looking beyond esoteric explanations and considering the psychophysiological basis of vibrations. My own research on this subject has led me into learning more about neural oscillation...which is incredibly fascinating and I recommend anyone to read up on it and tell me what you think about it's connection with vibrations. |

The vibrations are your energy flow and chakra throughout your non-physical body |

That's interesting. I've never considered this before. |
