One thing I've done is try humming or singing the music into my phone right after I wake up. That's helped me hang onto some bits just a little better than I would otherwise, I think. Although I warn you, if you're anything like me, your morning performances will be nowhere near as good as your fabulous in-dream lucid voice! Congratulations, and I look forward to reading about you making more beautiful music in your future LDs!
Thank you! Yes, dream music is among those things one can never get enough of. Also, after I woke up from that piano dream, I found myself regretting not being able to play a real instrument - could have well written down the notes that were still fresh from the dream. Imagine what some musicians are missing out. At least we can enjoy the experience. Looking forward to reading about your next music ld!
Ah man, I'm so glad that I checked on your DJ "just in case I'd missed anything" and found this beautiful dream music entry! Congratulations! Great idea playing on a piano just as if it's already there to create music. There's no need to even look! This is a great technique because it's easily available to any oneironaut at any time. I'll have to try this to create a little mood music for my next LD!

I haven't really given TotM a serious look yet (I have a lot of personal goals I'm interested in right now, including your teleportation machine idea!! ) But this sounds like a good one! I had to google clone jutsu, and came away thinking, "I guess I get it, but I'd better wait for Nyx to show us the proper way this is done!"

Oh, I have missed this conversation! Fogelbise, thank you for your comments. It is great to see you. I can absolutely relate to being behind with journal entries. At this point though, I am determined to be more active about lding, journalling as well as being around here more. Hope you find inspiration to do so as well! By the way, I've been trying recently, since yesterday actually, to voice record some of my dreams and combine this with a short journal entry. I think this will be effective just to get me going rather than an alternative way of journalling. It's a real pain saving and transferring more files from one place to another. I would also do it only after being fully awake - tried voice recording myself in the middle of the night and couldn't figure out what I was saying the next morning.

Congratulations on the lucids! I think that I need to familiarize myself better with what the tasks are! I'd thought that when you summoned a clone last dream you'd completed the task! Ah I see now, you have to do something to/with your clone. Well you've certainly got the summoning part down! Now just need to remember to high-five or arm-wrestle or something!
Wow, Nyx, what a night! Congratulations! You had so many LDs and got some TotM completions too! Apart from just baaaarely missing dessert, your 5-star restaurant experience sounded perfect! And the part at the end where you picked a flower from the super-saturated field sounded really beautiful! For all of the success you had in this series, this was one of the funniest bits to me: He doesn't change so I pull away and whine a few times for him to transform then the dream ends. How many times have I done something just like this?? heh heh... I'm now outside facing a swimming pool which reminds me of the one in front of the hotel. Were you at a hotel when you had this dream series? I've always thought that travel could be very good for lucid dreaming!

Good to see you too CL! The standard android voice to text function seems to do quite well and I still use it for longer entries when I have privacy. There is probably an app that will give you more leeway with the recording length, I'm guessing.
Hey fogelbise, good to see you! I remember your photo approach. That did work well! I can definitely see how it'd be a lot of work too. Did you also voice record a lot of your dreams for a while? I tried having Siri record my dreams for me one morning but the results were pretty disappointing, primarily because the recording length seemed to be really short. I've not been able to find a lot of time to look into it further, but it makes me curious how you did yours. Good luck! A belated Congrats Nyx!! I still want to do that tree task. I love trees and just think that it would be interesting to go up to any look out point. I hope all is well with you. I just haven't been on DV quite as much as usual and haven't updated my online DJ in a while. I love looking at my old DJ's but it seems I'm too lazy to post them lately, especially since I really like the way I can quickly remember the feel and content of the dream months later by adding pictures…but that takes a fair amount of additional time...
