I think the fact that Easter just happened should not be ignored. Crosses are on a lot of people's minds around Easter time. Are you a Christian? Perhaps identifying a bit too much with the crucified Christ during this season? If not a Christian, perhaps Christianity disturbs you, and thus Easter brought on this disturbing dream?
If you are a Christian, then maybe the cross is not the only Christian symbolism in this dream? Being lifted out of the waves could be like baptism or the resurrection, anyway being born again into life through Christ's sacrifice for you.
If you are not a Christian by the way, and you feel that my interpretation is too Christian centric, please feel free to disregard that.
If you are Christian, since the symbology in most of the dream may be Christ centric, I would consider the crows from a Christian symbolism point of view as well. Now personally I was not familiar with crow as symbol in Christianity, so I looked it up and found this site ChristStory Raven, Crow, Blackbird Page - I would however suggest that when you read through this you only consider those interpretation symbols as plausible which you likely had heard of before even if you had forgotten. Personally I do not believe in universal symbols, and I think the crows in your dream likely mean something that you had already heard of at some point. So if you have never heard of the idea of crow as a symbol for Mary, than that is probably not it. But maybe you heard of crow as a symbol for bad omen or for certain sins? If those ring a bell to you when you read the possible symbols, consider those symbols that sound most plausible to you to be more likely - you are the judge of your dream's meaning.
