      Problems with recall >.<

For the past week or so ive been doing regular reality check, and all the steps to attempt lucidity, BUT, i cant even remember any of my dreams, what could be the problem and what can i do? Im not overly stressed..or anything really. Just for the past week and a half, been having trouble with my recall all of a sudden.

Story of my life =\ I can't remember my dreams (using a dream journal) let alone what I did yesterday.

Yea, my last entry is from like a week and a half ago, its like I hit a brick wall. My mind is always just blank when I wake up, vs remembering my dreams.

If trying to recall your dreams isn't working with the many methods mentioned in this forum, you might try one of the other methods mentioned here, possitive affirmations. Throughout the day, before sleep, upon awakening, etc., just tell yourself "I have perfect dream recall" or a variation of it, and slowly your subconscious mind will make it so. Positive affirmations can work wonders as long as you remember the key word, 'positive' and always speak them in the present tense, not future. Basically, when you use them, just stay in the present, stay positive and when you say it, say it like you have already acheived it. Something so simple and yet it brings great results.

Hey there..i'm a natural lucid dreamer but I myself have those annoying recall problems..might be great for a month or so but then wham i cant remember a single dream..this may go on for a week or 2 then ill begin to remember again and then after a couple of weeks or do there it is again..a mind of emptyness..no fream recall...I have tried to work out why but there isnt any reason for it, i think its just one of those things you learn to deal with. Try looking through your diary and see if any of your other dreams make you remember your last. Lie down in the position you were in when you woke up, as daft as it may seem it works a treat sometimes, also if the slightest thing comes to mind like you think "i remember a gate" etc write it in your journal you may piece the rest together during the day. Goof luck

Try keeping a waking journal as well as a dream journal and write down all the events of the day, start to finish, right before you go to sleep. It has done wonders for me
