1st october
Setting: my room, Quiet, tired, traffic noise
Failed. Mind kept wandering off all the time. Eyes kept falling shut. Quit and took a nap.
After the short nap I first wanted to do something else, but when I noticed that my focus is improved a lot, I decided to give it another try.
My intention was to feel gravity, as pointed out by sivason to be essential. It didn't come naturally. I started to think about it. What if air wasn't here? Well, gravity would still be, but no air pressure. And I would suffocate. So I lay there.
I reached the point where I stopped yesterday, to feel my whole respiration system working. I looked through my body for any sensations not yet noticed, and took care of some smaller ones.
Then I wondered about my teeth. If one actually can feel them. Just slightly they're there, resting inside my mouth. Even the wisdom teeth on the far end were tangible. It stretched further until I felt my forehead-skull and the skin tightened around. So did the rest of my body. Strange when you come to that feeling.
At first I just noticed that my lungs feel different breathing (I was lying on a pillow on the floor on a carpet) until i got it that this is just the result of gravity. The feeling expanded till I noticed that my tongue was sliding back if I relaxed too much, also an effect. This went further till I could feel it all over my stomach having to work against it to get air into my lungs, such as my butt akin because it's pressed hard to the floor and my whole body flattened like melting ice-cream
Glad to finally get what gravity feels like - even if I first failed again
