When I close my eyes in an LD I seem to awaken quickly, too, so I avoid doing it. Funnily enough, I find flying no problem, but other things like telekinesis I find almost impossible. |

I experimented with this a little bit in a lucid dream I had last night, and I wonder what you think about it. |

your in low level sleep and therefore in better control. I find flying To be a force of will,, pretend you are on a ladder if it helps. |

I think this may have alot to do with your schema and expectations towards closing your eyes. I too used to have problems with flying when I first started out Lucid Dreaming. However, I stopped those flying problems when I did exactly what you did. I would jump into the air from the ground, close me eyes, and feel myself starting to fly. It would always work. I never woke up when I re-opened my eyes. That possibility came to mind, but because I didn't put much of any focus on it at all, I never had a problem with closing and opening my eyes. All you have to do is keep your focus on the dreamworld. |

Goals:
-Become Lucid in every dream every night
-Perfect the time dilation watch
-Continue to have a dream plan for most of my lucid dreams
