Yep I love that RC also since it works for me almost every time. I also like the digital watch RC since the numbers on the watch drastically changes everytime.

What is the first thing you do when you become lucid? I haven't had a lucid yet

The best thing to do when you first become lucid is to stabilize the dream. That way it will become more vivid and stable.

How long have you been trying to lucid dream for?

I found out about lucid dreaming January of 2016 and wasn't putting much effort that year (was on and off), so I got 14 lucid dreams for 2016. This year 2017 my lucid count is 13, so my progress is improving. So it's been about 1 year and 2 months.

I like to think back at what I did previously in the day to get here. It doesn't require me to do anything silly in public and it works!

I love holding nose and trying to breathe . Saved me many times from nightmares when I accidentally held my nose n could breathe. I also enjoy reading words twice only when I'm already lucid. The things words become when u look back is interesting.

The nose pinch is my only RC...but that is rare now as normally I just know I am dreaming and dont bother confirming. (although one time I jumped out of a car and for a split second I thought " I HOPE this IS a dream!). Fortunately it was.
