      I'm back

Quit LD entirely after failing a bunch of times. Started a little over 3 years ago, but never stuck with it. I'm back to learn and this time I've got nothing else to do so I'll be spending my time re-learning what I can. I have about 3 months to dedicate to learning it again until I go to bootcamp for about 2 months and after that I'll try to pick up where I left off.

Anyone know a good place to start?

Can anyone attest to the effectiveness of this? http://www.dreamviews.com/induction-...ream-fild.html

Welcome to the forums again, Zaven!

I don't really think there's any place to start, besides doing regular reality checks and dream journaling. That alone is enough, but you could try ADA, MILD, and WILD. Also, I'd advise performing WBTB every night.

I haven't tried FILD yet, but a majority of people say it works. Then again, lucid dreaming induction has almost always been dependent on the individual, so you should try it out for yourself and see if you like it.

I hope to see you around the forums Zaven! And of course, sweet (hopefully lucid) dreams..

Good to have you back, I hope you stick with us this time

Don't worry about failing at the beginning, for me it took a while to build momentum and start having some lucids a month, so you are not alone. It doesn't matter where you start, what's important is that you set clear goals and stick with just one technique or combo (I personally like using MILD because I have good prospective memory, and then I combine it with WBTB whenever I wake up at night). Feel excited about it and visualize yourself becoming lucid. Whenever you accomplish something, as small as it is, be grateful and look forward to the next accomplishment.

And remember, don't give up. You can take some breaks to avoid building pressure on yourself, but if you keep at it, it will pay off in the end. Just trust it will, even if it doesn't look like it.

      Happy lucids!!

FILD and MILD are really good. With FILD just follow Hargarts instructions and u should have a few. Definitely best as part of a WBTB

Like martakartus and llama MILD is probably my favorite. Most tekks work best with WBTB for me
