First Lucid Dream Last Night- New Member

Hi, I need to share my experience of a Lucid Dream I had last night ! I'm really excited and wondering if and when I can experience it again.

I started going to the Gym 3 weeks ago and drinking Mineral water. I'm wondering if this helped trigger this experience.

Last night I fell asleep with my head phones on, as normal, listening to a Graham Hancock lecture on Ancient Egypt and DMT.

Anyway my Lucid dream started with me chatting to a man who was in a car, when suddenly I flew into the air above the trees which were surrounding me. I realised at this point I was awake and had control. I flew at high speed amongst the trees which was exhilarating. I then decided to try and interact with someone but I couldn't make the scenario happen, so I gave up because I didn'the want to struggle and wake up. I then found myself living on my stomach on some ice, I didn't feel any coldness but I was excited because it felt so real. I then flew into the air and over a Ridge I was confronted by a Tropical Beach/ocean scene. At this point I got scared incase I imagined some sea Monsters. It was anot amazingly real experience, it's a shame I can't share it with anyone.

I'm guessing you guys understand what an amazing sensation and experience this felt like.

I can't wait to do it again and do more exploring.

      Yes, YES we DO!

      to DreamViews

Of course you can and will have more of lucids. Now that you know yu can, all you need to do is keep thinking about your dreams and how awesome this lucid was. So your mind understands that you love your dreams and you want more of them. Start a dream journal here on the forum. The more you think about your dreams, the better.

Are you practicing anything for lucids? Or was this just something random?

I know it sucks when we can't tell our friends about the awesomeness of lucid dreams. Thank god for this forum though, where we love sharing our dreams. Happy dreams

      Not practicing- Random Occurrence

I wasn't expecting this Lucid Dream and have not been practicing any exercises.

On occasions I try Astral Projection, unsuccessfully so far. I tried about 3 months ago to visualise leaving my body, using a YouTube instruction recording.

      No other practice.

Very cool when you first start having them. Remember that feeling! It will help you in the future. Write it down on a physical piece of paper. You will want it later.
“The dream is the small hidden door in the deepest and most intimate sanctum of the soul, which opens to that primeval cosmic night that was soul long before there was conscious ego and will be soul far beyond what a conscious ego could ever reach.”― C.G. Jung
