How To Get Past Sleep Paralysis

God, its so easy for me to get into SP, I can do it without trying.

But I can't get past it! For me, its bloody terrible. Everything looks distorted. I hear weird noises and imagine someone is trying to destroy me.

How do I make it better? Is there any way at all I can make this less weird?

Practice and time will make it better. As you attempt WILDs more and more you'll get used to how it feels, and in the end it will no longer feel strange. The most important thing to remember is that what you're experiencing happens every time you go to sleep, only when you WILD, you are conscious and aware that it's happening. What you feel can't harm you, and you can always wake yourself up if it gets too intense.

Sleep paralysis experiences differ between people. Like Jakku said, keep WILDing and you should soon get used to how it feels. Vibrations, hallucinations, tactile sensations, sounds... They're all normal parts of sleep paralysis and you experience them every night! But usually you're unconscious when they happen.

For me, not freaking out right when sleep paralysis happens is the hardest part. Once you get past the initial surprise, keep relaxing and passively observing any imagery behind your eyelids. Relaxing does help a lot.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Stay with your breath! If your inhales are becoming more predominant than your exhales, you need to change that. Breathe rhythmically and gently. It should not be fast, but it does not have to be overly slow and deep. It isn't as such when we are sleeping, but there needs to be an ease with the breath. Sometimes we think our body is relaxed, but be sure to also check in with your throat, pull the tongue from the palate (roof of the mouth), relax the muscles in and above the palette so their is an openness in the inner space of the head. Bring your awareness through the temples softening and relax along the brow line and forehead. No matter how disconcerting the experience, the awareness of the breath will have a grounding effect and help you through it. Good Luck . . .

Hei , you are experiencing SP every night? You are the luckiest. Just give a try as follows.
While you are in the SP and struggling with it, imagine that SP is a human being and is somebody from the opposite sex you love/fascinate.
You can tame this beast(your SP) in your favor always. After a while this mate may convert into horror beast again. This time be calm and imagine friendly accepting the power of the object towards you. You may feel a fresh energy and confidence.
This is how I overcome my horrible SP nights. Give it a try and leave feedback. I am eagerly waiting for another SP experience after this.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. You'll get it eventually. Just imagine yourself about to dream. Be calm and positive.
