      Lucid Workshop (Application- Lucid aid)

Hiya! I created a little program for myself to help me gain lucidity. I thought perhaps someone here might be interested as well so I figured it wouldn't hurt to post it.

It is a simple audio/visual cue application (like an alarm) the will trigger at certain times throughout the night.

You can currently have up to 12 alarms. You can set them to loop, once set off, for a specific amount of time, and they can repeat at timed intervals (like every 90 minutes). Currently you can do an audio cue, which will play a file off your computer, and/or you can play a visual cue which will make the screen flash a specified color. (Though I don't know how helpful that will be, or if it will even penetrate the eyelids. But I thought I would give it a shot)

Sadly, it only works on Windows (Xp, Vista, and 7) so sorry mac users.

The download is a .zip file that contains 2 applications, the Lucid Workshop and the Lucid Runner. The Lucid Workshop will open a simple design program to set up your alarms and save them. The Lucid Runner will open a saved cue file, and run it during the night. (It makes your screen go black so hopefully the light wont be all that distracting when you are trying to sleep)

Here is a screenie of the Workshop. Not pretty, but it gets the job done:

So, if you want to give it a shot, you can download it here. (Save as..)
      Download
NOTE: Make sure to extract the files.

If you have any ideas that you think would be helpful, or interesting to add to this program, feel free to let me know. If I can add them, I will, as I want this app to be as helpful as possible.

P.S. I haven't tested this overnight yet, so if you try it let me know how it goes.

      Extra Notes:
The program should disable your computer from going to sleep and from the screen saver turning on. However, if you have a laptop and close the lid, it will still go to sleep.
As I have yet to test this program overnight (I plan on doing so tonight) I do not know if there will be any problems with the program setting off alarms correctly. I have tested in short minute bursts, and it seems to work fine, but as I have only spent a day on this I do not know if there are any bugs (which there will most likely be).
      Extra Info:
Here is some extra info in case you don't know what everything does:
Audio Cue- This will play an audio file at a specified time. Currently .wav; .mp3; .mid is supported.
Visual Cue- This will flash the screen once, or at 1 second intervals until the specified time expires.
Loop- With audio, this will play a sound over and over immediately after it ends until time expires. With visual, the same but the screen will flash instead.
Repeat- This will repeat an alarm every specified amount of time. So if you have an alarm set for 2:00 with a repeat of 90, it will go off at 2:00, 3:30, 5:00, etc.
Start At- The time for the alarm to go off
End At- (Only with a loop) The time for the alarm to stop playing. In the case of a repeating AND looping alarm, the end time will automatically be adjusted for each repeat.
File- Specifies whether a sound file is selected to play or not.
Color- The color of which the screen will flash for that alarm. If more than one alarm is set to flash at the same time, the alarm with the highest ID number will be used.

NOTE: To increase a value (such as time) press/hold left mouse button, to decrease press/hold right mouse button.
      Bugs Found:
Flashing Timer- Screen visual seems to be going off at odd incorrect times. (Needs Fix)
