      Question Noise during sleep?

Me, and a ton others i know sleep with a fan on during the night. Now, the 2 lucid dreams ive had were VERY short, my question is, could it be my fan that woke me up while i became lucid? Also, i realize that i was excited when i became lucid, so it could have easily been that as well.

having said this, my fan isn't much louder than a person exhaling with their mouth open.

BUT, could my fan effect the shortness of my LD's in the future? because it is a constant noise, should i even sleep with a fan on if i want to have long LD's? could my fan wake me up while i LD in the future?

Thank you EVERYONE who helps, it is very apprichiated of you.

      !

Doesn't sound like something that would wake you up to me.

Unless you've had problems with it in the past, I don't see how it should affect you when you're lucid. If you however, remember hearing the sound of the fan WHILE in a lucid dream, then you should probably consider removing it.

It's blazing in my apartment. I sleep with a loud ass air conditioner, plus a fan. I guess it would only bother you if you let it.

I"ve always had a ceiling fan in my room, but I don't think that it has ever made me wake up from a LD. I think all mine have been short so far is just because I am still learning to stabalize them.
