ok so I only get like 8 hours of sleep at night and I don't want to wake up in the middle of it just to lucid. I'm willingto take 30 minutes or so to fall asleep, but what is a good method to induce WILD when you go to bed besides lying still and taking deep breathes. thank you! |

I have a really busy work schedule during the day so I don't really have the time to nap or anything, but when I slip into my bed at night, I am extremely relaxed so that's not a problem. Sometimes as I half awake, half asleep, I can sorta visualize dreams really well, but that's only sometimes. I am looking for a way to keep my mind consciously aware as my body falls asleep, but not having to interrupt my regular sleep schedule. So if anyone has any effective methods for that, I would really appreciate it! Thanks! |

It might be difficult for you to WILD, then, given the time constraints. WILDing right when you get into bed isn't recommended, because even if you're very relaxed it can take a while to enter SP. Also, right when you get into bed, you're not in a REM cycle, so it's unlikely you'd enter a dream. But good luck finding a method that works for you! |

DILDing with awareness is the most convenient way for me; if you're consistent enough with observation and awareness, seriously questioning whether you could be dreaming at times, it's a pretty good way to become lucid. I haven't been able to WILD in over half a year, so obviously WILDing hasn't helped me much. |

Forget WILD. DEILD is just as good yet takes only half the effort. If you fail, only a few minutes are wasted, if you succeed it's just like WILD. |

ok, I have had one lucid dream, and that was few days ago. Since then, I have had ridiculous dreams, but I don't even think to RC. I have been MILDing because thats how i achieved lucidity, but I am thinking a mixture of DILDing and MILDing is the best thing to do. What do y'all think? I need a method to let me realize to do an RC, but i can't really afford to lose sleep, so none of that please. I had a semi dream construction when I did a variation of WILD. I laid still and breathed in 50 times slowly, then imagined a great amount of pain slowly throughout my body, then i took about 50 more deep breaths. Then i got a really big sense of spinning and vibration and i saw like a dream beginning in front of me, but i sorta freaked out and woke up. I did that with no loss of sleep or anything. I did it right when i went to bed around 10 at night. What do y'all think will do best to help me achieve lucidity again. Thanks so much in advance! |
