There isn't really a METHOD to realize you have to do a RC, unless you get used for example doing it everytime you look at your watch or phone. The thing is, you have to question your surroundings and think about where you are, do you remember how you got here, is there anything strange or out of place around you? Awareness is the key. You can simply get lucid by noticing something odd, and just do a nose plug RC to prove you are dreaming. As for WILD, i've never tried imagining being in pain, interesting, i may try that out tonight. How to achieve lucidity again? The usual stuff, keep thinking about dreams and coming on the forum, to a lot of awareness checks over the day, keep a Dream journal etc... No pain no gain and I HAVE TO USE CAPS FOR THIS, DON'T OVERSTRESS! Wanting a lucid too much blocks you from having it, i can tell you from my own experience.
