I used to have a wristwatch that chimed every hour and did a RC based on that. Having a portable timer like that is always a plus. |
Heheheh this idea gave me some extra motivation |
Sounds like a good idea, I'm going to try it starting from tomorrow |

yes i do, but its not that i hear it all the time, lets say i hear it 80% of the time |
Yea I don't have an iphone or iphone touch so tomorrow I will have a look at my cell and see if i can put it on a snooze for every 15 minutes or so. |

That sounds promising...I have a watch with an automatically resetting timer, I can try using that. Of course, that's assuming that I hear it when I'm sleeping but that it's not loud enough to awaken me. |
I failed tonight, my ipod battery died |

Yeaaa... you should keep your iPod in the charger, that'll be easiest. |
good night everyone! im going to try again now. i'll report back tomorrow (too bad i have to wake up pretty early so i might miss becoming lucid |
no success so far ... |
Yeah, I tried that technique with my watch, it hasn't been working either... but I've only been doing it for a day or two. It'll come eventually. Even if the alarm itself doesn't induce lucidity, you may have a DILD; you may just do a reality check for "no apparent reason." |
it seems that i don't even hear the alarm when i'm asleep.., i'm increasing the volume today |
What I'm saying is, you may not have to. If you do RC's frequently enough, you may do one in your dream even without the alarm. |
I decided to combine a new method with the sound-induced RC. I attempted HILD yesterday afternoon. For those who haven't read the tutorial, it's Hypnosis Induced Lucid Dream. You make your subconscious want to give you lucid dreams. However, since I had no recall last night, I'll have to wait a while to see if it worked. |
that looks hard to do! |
Actually, it's not. The tutorial is in the Tutorial-Archives section. It's called "HILD: Hypnosis Induced Lucid Dream." One of the ways you'll recognize it is that it's not written by the Dream Guide Team. |
When you hear this sound though make sure you actually pay attention to it. Getting used to the sound could turn your whole plan around. Make sure to pay attention to the actual sound and what's going on around you. I used to set my phone to go off a few times during the day for a reality check. Worked for me a few times. |
