      What's YOUR sleep paralysis like?

      Just wondering.
Mine feels like a heavy lead blanket, extremely fast heart rate and a feeling as if a barrel's been rolled down a hill and smacked into my back haha
So, yeah, what's it like for you?

edit: sorry, I only just realised this is in the wrong section. Whoops.

My first sleep paralysis freaked me out big time. So did the second one. After that , I never had it again but I know its going to freak me out if it happens again.

It starts when I feel incapable of movement and then the blurry sense of another person in the room and whisperings in my ear. I tried to struggle and shout but nothing works I prayed and prayed and then it is over in about 1 min. It's very freakish.

I don't get it anymore becasue I give in to it and enter into a dream and then wake up. I used to fight it and try to scream or wiggle a toe or finger to wake up completely, I always felt like something horribal was near me. Now I relax and accept that I am in this state and allow myself to go into dreamstate-from thre I can choose to wake up.

I rarely get the old hag hallucinations. I usually just feel like I sink into the bed a bit and am unable to move. I used to get a really intense urge to move into a more comfortable position, and I struggled until I was able to. Now, I use the paralysis to WILD. I just close my eyes and wait, and then a wave of vibrations hits me and after they subside I get out of bed and RC, which often shows I'm dreaming.

I usually feel someone either standing behind me, or actually lying on the bed beside me. That along with mild vibrations and whooshing sensations.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I got that feeling a few times, too. Like, I felt as if someone was holding my feet and pulling me off the end of my bed. Scary.
