My First Lucid Dream - A Thanks to Everyone

I'd like to thank everyone who has helped, even in the slightest way, on getting me to have my first, memorable, Lucid Dream.

This is how it happened. Last night before bed, I kept telling myself, actually feeling it when I said it, that I will lucid dream, and reality check in this dream. I told myself, after 6 months of trying, it's happening tonight. And it did. At 4:00AM I woke up, and attempted to WILD after going on DV's for 10 minutes. I fell asleep WILDing and woke up again at 5:00. I have a cold and sore throat, so just gave up and went back to bed. Then in the middle of dreaming, I went lucid. (DILD) It was far from being 100% vivid, it still felt dream-like, I had no control, and it was fuzzy at times, but without a doubt a Lucid. I looked at my hands a lot, did constant nose pinch RC's, and kept it going for what seemed like half an hour or more! I was surprised at how stable I kept it.

Look at my dream journal entry to the left if you wanna read about it! (Very long)

      I can't stop smiling

Well done! I felt the same when I had had my first LD. Just keep on. If you got one, you'll get many.

      Awesome work man!

Some people think this is a form of escapism, in my opinion, lucid dreaming makes everyday life brighter and more interesting
