      Inception Technique No. 2

Here is inception technique number 2!
i did not post the first technique, but i added on to it, from the movie to what you can do to help with a DILD (which ive been trying recently, but by the looks of it, it seems like easy DILDS for you guys). Anyway you know how he has the spinner on him all the time to check if hes dreaming? you use the same thing. I have a large coin that i flip and i take a good long stare at it to make sure it falls down right. if it falls down right, your not dreaming, but if it doesnt, and stays in the air, let go and say "Im dreaming!"

its not as embarrassing in public as holding your nose or looking at your finger. flipping a coin is normal, and shoving your hands in your pockets can remind you to RC.

      Happy dreaming

I kinda like that idea. I happen to be a passionate coin collector anyway, so it's right up my alley... in fact, just this week I had a dream about coins. Have you had a chance to try it in your dreams yet?

Flipping a coin is more normal than looking at your hands?

Problems with this "technique" - you've never had a lucid dream, so this is not a proven method. How do you know the coin won't fall down normally in your dream? What happens if you don't have the coin on you in the dream, do you think you'd really even realise?

I think it was proven ages ago that any technique from the movie would simply not work.

Ive been studying alot, and if you flip a coin regularly, you should in a dream. not saying it wont happen though.

Whatever works for you is a good thing...though if I never see the word 'Inception' on these forums again I'll be a happy man.

Might as well leave then lol. We praise Inception on this forum!

Anyway I like the idea. Pretty simple I suppose. I'll probably be flipping a coin every hour everyday now ha.

Really? Granted an entertaining movie is an entertaining movie, but slapping Inception on everything feels to me...well like a Wiccan must feel when someone says they're designing a ritual based on last night's episode of 'Charmed.'
